What music are you listening to?

... Same with this next one from Ritchie Blackmore's late 70s band Rainbow featuring the mighty Ronnie James Dio on vocals:

And coincidentally, the same Tony Carey of the last video in my short list, was at one time Rainbow's keyboard player. Didn't know that back then, but found it out recently when upon "rediscovery" of these tracks looked up each artist to see what had become of them.

One of the most difficult songs to identify from my "assorted collection" proved to be Greg Khin Band's "Fascination". Even the Lyric's finders could not come up with the song and I eventually ran into it by accident on YouTube.

Right now im listening to a mix of hardcore dubstep and western rock...

My two favorite songs in the mix is Robot Eater from Gambit and Running down a dream by Tom Petty.

Kralle Krawinkel died last weekend, at the age of 66 ... Guitarist and main song writer of the German band Trio and long distance horse rider, once setting a record for travelling from Sevilla to Hamburg.

Yes, it is a bad misunderstanding to reduce them to their signature song "Da Da Da" ...

Another old, long not listened to song I had playing earlier today. Unusual theme, a sort of lament over the corpse of a 16th Century Spanish mercenary soldier...

Water Knot - Lust
The Black Keys - I got mine
The Black Keys - Your touch

I haven't listened to music for years but heard those tunes in a film and liked.

Love this particular recording. This guy's bass playing and tone are pure heaven:

Some classic Purple. Miss you, Jon Lord...

Another one I've been working on. Trippy synth music isn't my usual hard rock flavor but this stuff is so much fun.
