What music are you listening to?

As a follow-up to my previous post #403, here's an old paper about Libra I just found on one of my brother-in-law sites.

I dont know, if i am the only one with this taste of music in here - but quite probably...

In general (almost) every kind of Heavy Metal. But mostly:

Thrashmetal * Deathmetal * (very few) Blackmetal * (some) Grindcore

:headbang:

SLAYER - Black Magic

I dont know if am the one with the most extreme music taste in here - but quite probably...

I would say, you have no idea, what kind of extremes you can meet here.

Currently, I'm in through a Jazz period.

- Song for my father, Horace Silver.
- All of me, Gerald Marks & Seymour Simmons.

Dunno how many of you know about Studio Ghibli, but their films are beyond stunning - including the music:

With the finals next week, only Elvis can motivate me.

Don't procrastinate, don't articulate
Girl it's gettin' late, you just sit and wait around!

Although i am Heavy Metal addict

In the middle of the night at 03:00am even i tend to more softer tunes.
And while floating through the Solar System, nothing fits better than
the Soundtrack of one of my most beloved TV-Series, when i was a boy:

COSMOS - A personal Voyage Theme

Not something you see every day...The Brazilian Army's Orchestra covered a metal song (Sabaton - Smoking Snakes) which was about the BEF's actions during WW2 in Italy. I think it's pretty damn cool, myself.

You have a genius composer.

Do you prefer an amazing singer in bootleg quality...

... or an average singer in high quality?

'I don't wanna be me' song by an old band, not quite. But no longer playing. 2003 Album, Life's killing me.

RIP Peter Steele, he was the heart of that band. Dude was so huge he could play a doublebass slung over his shoulder like a bass guitar with a steel chain for a guitar strap.

Chillin' with some of the greatest musicians of the 20th Century, Miles and Coltrane. Sit out on the deck, turn off your infernal cell phone, pour yourself something good and just listen.

The band member was a gym workout guy, he was employed in practical jobs. I think when he's band started he was a cleaner for a park.

Flamenco Metal

Benjamin Woods (right side) makes several Coverversions of Rock and Metal Songs for a Compilation called "Heavy Mellow Volumes I & II".
The outstanding thing about it is, that its in Flamenco Style! A quite a unique experience, if you know the original songs!

In this particular Video he is performing together with Luis Villegas (left side)

IRON MAIDEN - Wasted Years (Flamenco Style)
