What music are you listening to?

A question(s).

I'm looking for someone to record vocals to my metal cover of "Enjoy the silence" by Depeche mode. Some of you might seen WIP version in the chatbox.

Yesterday I've re-recorded most of the lines to make them more tight, and I'm planning to finish instrumental parts today (bit more dynamic drum lines, some synths and a breakdown). I've experimented with vocals yesterday but in truth my vocal skills are pretty limited and this song is beyond me in terms of singing.

So. If any of you is interested, poke me via PM.

Cheers
Loru.

Desert Island Discs is a UK radio institution, going donkeys years, bit like the Shipping Forecast:

Either way, I was shocked to hear Rick Wakeman is approaching 70 years old. I nearly stopped at a motorway service station and had a coffee.

Best promote this then.

And if someone can let me know why the videos I link to cannot be seen...

Hey, I recently listened to the same video as well! The Art of Fugue is quite a masterpiece.

Another good Bach fugue:

Bach Sonata No.3 in C major, BWV 1005

I have the Ivan Galamian edition of the score from IMC with bowing and fingering indications, and learning to play this one well is a daunting task, that I've yet to master. The subject is only 5 bars long and Bach manages to ring 354 bars of fugue out of it. Truly amazing.

I'm on sort of a 20th century kick now.

Re #811 above
