Im thinking of trading in my Celestron 8" goto on a german mount with a azimuth mounted scope but I cant decide what to look for. Im needing a more portable scope. I plan to take it to dark places so it needs to be able to stand trips in my car and be not to heavy.
I dont really do astrophotography any more and just like to watch:lol:. Just wondering if anyone here has some suggestions.
Need
Small scope thats good optics and is easy to set up.
Not too heavy hug rugged enough to be moved.
Easy set up.
Refractor or reflector.
