What simulations do you play beside Orbiter?

I like EVE Online and Ace Combat, I think they are a little more fun but Orbiter has its place. What else do you play

Those are simulations today? I then play Minesweeper as other simulation. Very realistic, especially the fact that missing the first mine is your death.

I also play Ace Combat, because having 200 missiles and unlimited bullets is very realistic.

Hmm, the only other simulators I play are FSX, and FreeFalcon. Those also happen to be the only ones that fit in the "simulator' genre. ;)

I think we can safely add :

- Dangerous Waters for naval operations.
- Operation Flashpoint or similar for ground warfare.

DCS:Black Shark for Helicopters

And of course Dwarf Fortress for simulating ....................

Does "Celestia" count?

Its more a planetarium, for me thats a little different. But a nice piece of software, too.

(and yes I should buy FSX).

I've got an account with "Lunar Flight" but my frame rate is a bit low to enjoy it as much as I do Orbiter.

So, pretty much just Orbiter for me.

Flight Simulator 2002, 2004, XPlane 9, Falcon 4.0 and its different variants(Free Falcon, SP4, BMS). Oh, almost forgot one thing too in the flight side. Gunship.

Microsoft Train Simulator, (I have also 2 versions of Trainz Railroad Simulator, but don't have it installed no more I just have it in my closet now.) for my train simulating hobby.

Ship Simulator 2008, Virtual Sailor. I have Sub Command too. I almost forgot.

Crane Simulator, 18 Wheels of Steel American Long Haul for truck simulating.

And another space related simulator called Space Shuttle Mission 2007 (This is nice for detailed ops of the Space Shuttle. But I prefer Orbiter for being able to fly lots of other things.)

Oh, I also have some car racing games. Can that be called simulators too? Stuff like Grand Prix4 or Ferrari Virtual Race.

I think that about covers what I would call my simulator list.

P.S.

If you want to call one Star Trek game somewhat a simulator, I can add Star Trek Bridge Commander. That in some sense is a simulator simulating how to command a Star Trek starship. :D

I think that more than covers it

FlightGear.

I also find myself spending a lot of time with simulators of industrial microcontrollers and robotics, but I don't consider that "play".

Il-2 1946, Enemy Engaged(Helo sim), FS04, Flightgear, OFP(General military sim), etc.

FS2004 and FSX.

Used to run Eagle Lander 3D way back in '06...until I found Orbiter. Never went back.

Well, let's see...

FS 2004, FSX tricked out with FSPassengers and Radar Contact for my plane flying fix.

Silent Hunter 4, 5 for my naval fix. (Unfortunately I have not found a decent one for interSHIP combat yet. If anyone knows of a good one, I'd be in your debt.)

Falcon 4.0, IL-Sturmovik 1946 for my rata-tat-tat fix. I also play Crimson Skies, not too much of a sim, but it does use some basic principles of flight, so it's a very light sim if anything.

I have Train Simulator 2012, but I don't use it as much, too much payware DLC to be real fun for me.

I have every Forza Motorsport since 3 in my room as well, I consider it pretty decent simulator.

The only spaceflight simulator I have found to be worth my time has, in fact, been Orbiter. I also play the X-series of space games, but that's more like an FPS with a joystick.

Finally, on a technically, I will include the Sims, because TECHNICALLY it's a rather quirky life simulator.
