Football (soccer) it's Ajax of Amsterdam, Seattle Sounders FC, and the national teams of The Netherlands and the US.

College sports- I support my Oregon State Beavers.

American Football- The Seattle Seahawks

Basketball- Portland Trail Blazers

Baseball-The Mariners

Hockey- Ducks

What about you guys, what teams do you all follow?

Football: none, never liked that sport and never will (and I'm European, from a country where football has a very long tradition).

American Football: whichever team is the least likely to win. Haven't been watching long enough to have a favorite team.

Indifferent to other team sports.

Football: VfL Wolfsburg - I consider supporting a team also going to the arena, and support the team even when things are tough. In terms of national teams, I support of course Germany, but have the habit to support any team which defeated Germany in a fair game during the finals of a tournament. I consider it far worse if Germany is defeated by a team that is not the best. ;)

Nothing else. I am not so much busy watching other sports.

Football: Djurgårdens IF in the Allsvenskan (for now), but I'm a fan of Arsenal in the EPL too.

Handball: FC København.

Ice Hockey: Vancouver Canucks.

American football: New England Patriots.

(edit) And in Formula 1 I support whatever team Kimi is driving for, but also every team that Hamilton is not driving for. This could make next year somewhat confusing for me.

Football: Brisbane Bronocs

None of this soccer rubbish :P

And I can't understand the rules for American Football

And Australia for everything else

Oh and Triple 8 racing in the V8 supercars

Even when they switch marques?

For me:

Rugby league: Cronulla Sharks, NSW Blues and whatever team is playing Manly.

International sports: Australia, or if they are not playing, whatever team has an Australian in it. Also, whatever team is playing against England :P

esp. when they change. I was a Holden supporter until a very short time ago.

Brock and Lowndes would be my childhood role-models

Also, whatever team is playing against England :P

I support that team too!

For me, it's:

Ospreys, Cardiff Blues, Scarlets and Dragons (being a Gog*, I don't support any one of the four Welsh regional teams)

And at international level, of course, it's Wales. And the above team... ;)

(All rugby union. I don't really bother with any other sport.)

(* That's "gog" for "gogledd", Welsh for "north" - a North Walian).

EDIT: I should also add Wrexham Touch Rugby, really, given that I play for 'em. When I'm not injured, that is, which is unfortunately in increasingly shorter periods! :( I hate getting old!

How did you get to Ajax and the Dutch national team (Oranje/ Orange)

I support Feyenoord from Rotterdam (archrival of Ajax) and of course, the national team of the Netherlands.

There are no other teamsports that I like.

My Opa was a World War 2 refugee and we still have family all over Holland (I usually go back to Haarlem and Amsterdam every year to visit). I speak a bit of Dutch (not my strongest non-native language anymore) so I more or less grew up supporting Het Oranje (it is not really an option in my family).

I started supporting Ajax years ago when they were dominating the Eredivise and Europe because they'd be on American TV and I liked watching them and rooting for a Dutch team. Obviously now they are not as good, but once I support a team I support a team. I try and get to the ArenA every year I'm back in the Netherlands and I watch every game that is not on at 3 in the morning local-time here.

This year is actually looking interesting. With Feyenoord, PSV, Twente, and Ajax all hoovering around the top, it makes for some good voetbal.

Football: Man U. National teams: Canada, France, Ireland

Canadian Football: Hamilton Tiger Cats

US Football: Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Oakland

Basketball: Puhllleeeeze ...

Hockey: Toronto Maple Laughs

Lacrosse: Toronto

Indianapolis Colts, St. Louis Cardinals

Also, please stop referring to soccer as "football." It's incorrect.

I believe that it's incorrect in America (only?)

Only in the United States and Canada.

Because they don't want to call their favorite sport American rugby, though the ball is not played more often with the foot in American football, than in rugby.
