I'm a chinese,and i can't understand the "TEj" in orbiter.
what's mean?
thanks.

Time to Ejection.

The time until you want to do a ejection maneuver and leave Earth.

T stands for time, the Ej stands for Ejection...so it represents the time of an ejection burn

Trev

TEj is found both in TransX and IMFD right?

Btw, welcome to the forum shangding! Woohoo another Chinese orbinaut

This should really be in the 'Meets and Greets' section, but anyway :welcome: here! Do you guys know that your country is already popularly perceived as the last best hope of Humanity's advancement into space? You just MUST initiate a new space race and kick everybody else's butts so that this sleepy kingdom of lazy retards called Earth's powers would start moving!

thanks very much everyone.
my english is poor,not good.
so it's difficult to read orbiter tutorials.
i read them by google translate.
thanks again

You should use your own knowledge of English and an English to Chinese dictionary. It is better than using Google Translate. You also get to practice your English. Computers can not actually understand languages, so they don't translate them correctly. You can do better than your computer can. You should try to understand a text first. If you don't understand a word, look in a dictionary to see what it means. If you still don't understand, then you can use Google Translate.

Well, this shows my ignorance. I thought that the Chinese Government would have blocked forums in the west. :embarrassed:

Welcome to the community shangding! Happy Orbiting!

Back in my days as a sailor, to say that something was off-limits or "forbidden" was to invite sailors like me to try to do it anyway.
I do remember something about the Chinese government and Google coming to an agreement on what would be censored though. Perhaps the 'Forum here falls within the governments guidelines?

Note to shangding, your English is as good (or better) than the average American teenager. The teenagers here on the Forum seem to be above average, so we should all understand what you mean.

The only internet censorship that has no holes, is cutting the cable.

Also why should the Chinese government complain about Orbiter? In this case you could as well block all western newspapers, which sure doesn't happen (at least all the time), because if you write the wrong words about China, thousands of Chinese will attack you in China...and for that at least one person has to be able to read it first...

And first of all, this here is an educational website. I bet we are the cheapest education for spaceflight and engineering in the world. ;)

well,some web sites,we can't open.like,youtube,facebook,twitter.
of course,this site isn't blocked.
and i need more time to learn about orbiter.
i like it.

Is there any list of space based speech like what tej means and all that stuff i am still trying to figure em all out i just recently got hlv

J2000.0纪元在天文学上使用。
