What's with all the Vocaloid!?

Lately, as anybody who visits O-F on a regular basis would have noticed, there has been a huge outburst of Vocaloid skins and the like, what is with it all? (Before anyone asks, no I don't like Vocaloid)

Anybody else thinking we will remember January 2011 as the great Vocaloid invasion? :lol:

I just think Miku's really cool.

(Vocaloids are basically software that are designed to sing. You input lyrics and melody, to put it simply.)
