What's wrong with it? Works for me.16:9 is horror. Absolute horror.
When it was time for me to replace my 4:3 monitor, I went with 16:9. It's more standard and 4:3 is unavailable. (I also can fit a larger widescreen monitor in due to height constraints.)16:9 is horror. Absolute horror.

My laptop is 1366 x 768 (so, greater than 1080p, yet still 16:9)
"1080p" refers to the 1920*1080 standard. Your laptop is slightly above 720p (1280*720).
1920x1200 x2 FTW! [Plus a third 1600x1200 (4:3) off to the side I use for VS 2010 output/Task Manager/Winamp/GPU monitoring, etc.] Unfortunately all the new monitors are 1920x1080, though -- looks like 16:10 is on its way out.![]()
I feel a little bit spoiled...but I use a 32" 1080P LG TV that I bought on sale a while back. It works wonderfully as a monitor. I usually run orbiter in 1280x720 (because i only have a laptop) and it is beautiful![]()
