General Question Which ISS/STS add-ons do you recommend?

im wondering what a good iss add-on would be? that you have a cargo bay full of stuff that has to go to the station and added? and also any good space shuttle addons. i have version 4.5 and the service pack. but it don't have what i want.

With this and the Shutte Fleet you can build the Station with every Shuttle-Mission

There's [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=3737"]Thorton's ISS[/ame] that's awesome. For the space shuttle there are 2 addons, Shuttle fleet, that you already have, and [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=4014"]Space Shuttle Ultra[/ame], which has more features.

You could look at the UCGO and UMMU ISS mod. It allows you to transfer UMMUs onto the ISS, and from there, you need to keep it stocked with Food and O2, otherwise the UMMUs will die.

As for Shuttle Fleet... you say that Shuttle Fleet and the service pack don't have what you want. Are you just looking for an ISS mod, or are you looking for cargo interactions? I dont think there's anything outside the UCGO and UMMU ISS mod, but I think there is an ISS fleet expansion for Shuttle Fleet that includes missions to construct the ISS. Not sure if that has been updated for 2010 yet though.

i have the space shuttle ultra and im in space with it now. is it possible to operate the robotic arm? or does it have to wait untill the orbit is stable and im docked with the space station?

Which version do you use? 1.25? I think it already used the same version as the current development version, which means, you control the PDRS by the aft work station.

i have the international space station v3.2 but when i do the resupply missions. i can't get the cargo out of the shuttle cargo bay with the robotic arm. can i get a hand in the right direction as to what to do after docking? please?

how can i get the cargo out of the space shuttle's cargo bay? i have tried the robotic arm but that don't work. i also tried an eva but i could not grab the cargo that way either. this is for the 1998 resupply mission approach and docking

i don't think the iss v3.2.0 works with the shuttle fleet 4.5 cauise i tried installing it lastnight and kept getting an error. so i rememberd having space shuttle ultra and the space station worked.

So you know where it is, and this panel has the controls for the robotic arm.

right. but i can't get the supply's out of the cargo bay on the 1998 resupply mission with the robotic arm. nor can i get a hold of them via eva.

We use the NASA manuals as reference for development, if something does not work like in the Checklists, we need to fix or document it.

sir with all do respect these manual are for the real space shuttle operations. how will this work with a game? cause a game and the real space shuttle are two differrent things altogether. cause from what i have seen not every switch in the orbiter sim space shuttles virtual cockpit works.

Most do - and those which don't are a reason to remind us to fix this. The manuals and checklists are the primary reference for developing SSU, we spend a lot of effort into making the switches react exactly as described there.

i just tried to install. space shuttle ultra and once again the game shuts down. eith im not installiong this simulation right or the add on is not compatible. i tried iss v.3.2 and got the same deal. im about to give up on this simulation altogether. only abouyt half of the missions work for it. so what am i doing wrong? with no read me's i have no idea
