I'm sure we've all heard of the not-so-recent development of the X-37B as a cheap, reusable spacecraft. (Design similarities to the shuttle orbiter should tell you that :lol
I recently took a trip to orbithangar and found a White Knight-SpaceShipOne combination as well as an X-37 mounted on two different rockets. What I'd like to see though is an X-37B mounted under the White Knight carrier.
I know that at current the X-37B is an unmanned robotic vehicle, but I was wondering if anyone were to make it, is there a way to pilot it without a cockpit? Or could you make a simple one and implement it into the design. An X-37C if you will.
If someone could make this, that would be awesome and I'd be extremely grateful. Thank you.
[Just a simple list of things it should be able to do]
1. Designed for launch from the White Knight carrier craft.
2. Ability to get to orbital velocity under its own power. (Its okay if we cheat a little with thruster power, weight, and fuel capacity  we all know that the Rocketdyne AR-2/3 isn't getting any six ton object into space from in atmosphere)
3. Usable cargo bay. (could sacrifice as location for a large fuel tank)
4. Cockpit designed for crew of no less than two. Four would be nice though! (could sacrifice some of cargo bay size for more room for crew though).
5. I think that's about it. Many thanks in advance to anyone who decides to take up what must definitely be an incredibly difficult and challenging task.
