Last night I installed McDucks whiteknight + spaceship one addon to have a play with dropping UCGO cargos from the Whiteknight.

My first experiment was a total disaster so I quit orbiter, edited the scenario and fired up orbiter again only to find that the Whiteknight was nowhere to be seen. F9 shows where Orbiter thinks it should be but the actual mesh isn't displayed.

Suspecting something may have been corrupted I reinstalled Whiteknight, still nothing.

Getting desperate I deleted the whiteknight mesh file (wk_right) expecting Orbiter to CTD and at least confirm it was reading the mesh file but it didn't. Instead I get a nothing. It's almost like orbiter is using a blank mesh.

Very odd.

I'd appreciate any suggestions! :tiphat:

Thanks.

Hmm...it may be because whiteknight was built for Orbiter version 031217, at least that's what it says on the download page on OrbitHangar [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=1897"]here[/ame]. Is there a newer version available built for Orbiter 2006?

True enough but the fact it worked once is what's thrown me!

i had once a similar problem with a addon for an older orbiter version.

check orbiter/config/ and orbiter/config/vessel/ for 0kb files.

You are a genuis Oceanic! It was a 0kb config file in vessels. I checked config and missed the vessel sub-folder.

problem solved! thanks very much for that.
