Sad that he passed away so early . He was great on the Bill and Ted movies and also on his comedy shows!

Was just watching one of his later shows (around 2002/2003). I love his sense of adult humor. Normally "Adult Humor" means rude language and fart jokes. And George did rude language and fart jokes as well as anyone, but if you listen, during the "build-up" to the fart jokes, there are some truly brilliant observations and jokes. He's always talking pretty fast during his build-ups, so you have to really listen, but there is definitely a mature, rational intelligence being smuggled in under the cove of "potty humor".

Some of us here grew up with Carlin, especially those of us in university in the '70s. What seemed funny as hell then, in retrospect ...

Now the "gray hairs driving in my lane" ... are mine.

Carlin always acknowledged that he had an old heart in a young body. That he survived as long as he did was a surprise. But his legend will live on.
