I have several questions I intend to ask, so instead of starting a new thread for each one I will just post them here, and ask the next one as soon as the previous one is answered. It should be simpler that way, and besides the Forum won't be full of lots of questions from one person!

So, question #1: Why, when in a scenario that involves Mir or the Lunar Wheel Station, do these stations not show up (as does the ISS) in the F3 dialog? The entries for these stations in the Manual say nothing about this difference. Even when I create my own scenario by writing a text file, they don't show up there.

O-F Staff Note: Topic updated to something a little more meaningful.

Because they are configured in a way to not allow you to control it, like the shuttle's SRBs and ET.

It'd be better if posted all your questions in one post.

In the config file of mir is this:

Code:
EnableFocus = FALSE

Please ask all of your questions in one posting. Please also use the search function to see if it has already been asked and answered.

Okay, here's the rest of the questions: (I searched all of them before posting)

#2 Is there any particular reason there are no scenarios in the Launchpad for the Shuttle-PB?

#3
On the Orbiter Change Log (http://orbit.medphys.ucl.ac.uk/download/Change.pdf), for the 010901 edition it lists this:

Selectable ships: Whenever the user-controlled ship has safely touched down on a surface base landing pad, the user can jump into any ship currently parked at the same base by pressing F3. Try flying the glider to Cape Canaveral, hop into the little transporter, and return it to Habana.

A little (Orbiter) history question:

What is the "little transporter?" An early version of the Shuttle-PB? Something else? This was long before I discovered Orbiter and I am just wondering!

Sorry, just realized that link doesn't work. Here is the good one:

#4 was a request for an addon, posted it in that area: http://www.orbiter-forum.com/showthread.php?t=16555

That's all for now, but there will probably be more--I'm still new to this.

Also, garyw, I searched for "f3 no mir lunar wheel" to see if there was something I should have seen, but besides this thread there was nothing. Usually I do search first, but this time I forgot.... :embarrassed:

garyw, thanks for the config file info; I probably won't change it, I have no need to, it was just puzzling that they never showed up in the F3. Also I hesitate to mess with config files without really knowing what I'm doing and what the effects will be....
