I searched the forum for the better part of an hour but haven't seen anyone with the same issue.

Orbiter runs just fine and dandy for me in full screen mode but every time I attempt to run it in windowed mode I get nothing but a white screen. The sound comes on and everything appears to be working with the small exception that I am flying blind. :)

Windows XP Home
NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT
Running dual monitors.

Things I tried:

1. checked the Orbiter log but it shows no indication of any failure.
2. tried deactivating all modules and turning off all visual effects.
3. Tried various screen resolutions including the native resolution for the monitor.

Any idea's??

Have you selected the opition to renumerate the display driver? Have you tried downloading the lastest drivers for your graphic card?

Move it to the other monitor.

In a dual-monitor system, Orbiter will only display on the monitor that it is set to run on. Check the Video tab and select the correct device (if your dual monitors are from the same video card, you may see duplicate entries). If it's moved to the other monitor, it won't display anything.

Even then, it doesn't always work on the second monitor, and the setting sometimes reverts back to the first monitor. If you're having that issue, try swapping the monitor outputs from your card.

Wow, you have to love the quick responses.

I actually did try the window on both monitors but given your suggestion I switched which display was the "primary display" and that solved the problem. The one connected via the "digital output" was the one giving the issue. Perhaps this is some sort of bug?

Also, I decided to give it a real challenge and load up two EXTMFD's on the other monitor (made them each 1/4 of the screen size) to check performance and I still get 100+ fps with no video issues.

Thanks gents.
