Version 2 of the projected X-15 Delta and further developments in that program. See included manual for installation and flight instructions. Requires ProjectX-15 V.2.0, Edwards & High Range addon and Vinka's spacecraft3.dll for minimal function. Addons from other developers are incorporated in many scenarios.

This is a really awesome addon, but I can't get the X-15 in orbit, with the scenarios provided using the CVEL Titans, and the built in autopilot,it gets to the last stage, and then looses altitude, and eventually burns up,and crashes.Has anyone else had problems with this also? Thanks

Not sure about this because I haven't used this addon for several years, however, IIRC I believe somewhere in the manual it states that the stock titan autopilot cannot handle the extra mass of the x-15 Delta payload and that due to this it is necessary to "hand fly" the LV to orbit. if you can find the cvel titan autopilot data file you _may_ be able to tweak the autopilot to something that works for you (IIRC the file is just a listing of pitch angles for various respective altitudes (E.G.- 10 km-80degrees, 20 km-70degrees, etc. etc.)) if you want to hand fly, you control vertical speed (vs) and vertical acceleration (vacc) by pitching up or down. the closer you are to a LV's upper payload mass limit, the higher you have to go before you start your pitchover maneuver.
try to keep your vs above zero at all times, even if only barely.

Thanks dacamp66,yeah this is a tricky one to fly,I have even tried launch.mfd, but it didn't seem to work very well,I will have a look at the autopilot too to see if I can tweak it to work better with this addon.
