I have myself an XR-5, and I plan on having it sit on the runway for a bit, so I start the APU, open the Bay Doors (I plan on using UCD), open the docking port, open the inner door, everythings fine. So, I use the ctrl+down arrow twice to get to the bottom panel to use external cooling, and.....CTD

I try a different order: I first try to use UCD to attach a dragonfly to the XR-5. I get as far as attaching the Dragonfly to UCD and.....CTD

I start the APU, ctrl+up arrow, and.....CTD

I've tried this about 10 different times (yes, literally), and NOTHING is working.

I have a Hera+final stage in orbit, plus a DGIV sitting at Wideawake. Not sure if this has anything to do with it.

Help please,
~Kaito

EDIT:
Okay, So I left the XR-5 Sitting at a runway, and turned my attention to my DGIV. Pro903Spec55. Everything went fine, then I switched to my Hera Payload to see how it was doing. Perfect. Switched back to the DGIV to find it was in glass cockpit mode. So, i hit F8 to change to panel view, and....CTD. I think Orbiter Hates me.

I had this one as well, random CTD's and other oddities. The main one being switching into the DGIV put it into glass cockpit mode.

I never did fix it, As my Orbiter install was so large and messy I decided it was time for a fresh installation.

I was getting a lot of CTD's as well, especially when going to the bottom panel "CTRL DOWN" or when starting a scenario from a different ship and switching to the X5.

Oddly enough, I found that if I turn off OrbiterSound, I get a lot less of them. The same appears to hold true in the 2006 version and the latest beta.

Yes. I also would say you should try it on a clean install or maybe post your orbiter log.
