Question XR Fleet damage model?!?!?

I always hear the XR fleet from Altea Aerospace has exellent damage models. BUT, I downloaded ALL THREE spacecraft and all I get is broken landing gear. Nothing else. Why is this? Is this the default damage model or is it just a problem w/ the files or on my side? I enabled all damage types! But nothing except that warning and red messages on the screen and the destruction of the landing gear. Could you explain me this?:)
 
By damage models you mean visuals or system damage?
 
Well, everyone else thinks about the computational modeling of damage effects when they hear damage modeling... The visuals are often ignored.

Spaceflight being what it is, it is not so much about a visual damage model- things tend to be either outright destroyed...or not.

That being said, if you are interested in seeing flaming bits of debris from what used to be your spacecraft after you make a major booboo, try the Deltaglider IV:

With XR2 sitting on the runway, apply full thrust, ride to the end of the runway and climb steeply. You'll get RAIL/LAIL alert... And if you switch to external view, you'll see that your ailerons are missing.

Lolz I have it and it just breaks up and goes black and then starts a booster facing upwards in the main fuselage:lol:but it is DAMN cool:rofl:

yes. break the ailerons and you'd better hope RCS has enough roll authority or else your not going the direction you want to.
