XR1 & XR2 blues

Hey guys,

I'm having a slight problem with the XR1 and XR2 - I keep crashing back tp the desktop everytime I try to pitch up, either by RCS or airfoil. All the other control surfaces work fine, as do the autopilots. Any ideas what might be causing this?

I've tried both out on a new Orbiter install, and I don't get this fault with any other spacecraft. The Orbiter Log text file contains no errors that I can see, so I'm a bit stumped.

You said you don't have this behaviour with any other vessel. Does that include the XR5?
It would be really helpfull to know.

Do you have any addons installed that change the default Delta Glider? That also caused my Orbiter to crash like you described it.

The first thing is to double-check that you are testing in a completely clean Orbiter 2006 P1 installation:

1. Install Orbiter 2006 P1.
2. Install OrbiterSound 3.5.
3. Install UMMu.
4. Install the XR1.
5. Load up the default "Ready for takeoff to ISS" scenario.
6. Try pitching up.

If that is CTDing for you then something odd is going on because the XR1 has 24,598 downloads to-date and this has not been reported before. Can you post your exact computer specifications (CPU, memory, video card brand and model, video card RAM size, Operating System version, etc.)? Also, please post your Orbiter.log and DeltaGliderXR1.log files.

If you have installed it could be the fault.
