General Question XR2 & Orbiter 2009

I'm having trouble with the XR2 & the Orbiter Beta 091023.
Whenever I get into a 300x300 orbit, in order to rendezvous with the ISS, my temperature readings are at over 700C, and I ALWAYS get a hull breach, when i try to open the nose cone, or the radiator....
Does this have to do with the new atmosphere settings?
Or is there an incompatibility between the XR2 and this Orbiter beta?
The curent add-ons i have are: XR2, AerobrakeMFD, BaseSyncMFD, UMMU, and OrbiterSound.

and yes, this happens because of the new atmosphere settings and the XR's code not being updated to work with them properly

Alternatively you can simply configure Orbiter to use the old atmospheric model.

Yet. A new version is already tested and will be released once Orbiter 2010 is ready.

On the subject of the new models for the atmosphere of Orbiter 2010, is it now possible to edit the models (setting layers, etc.) directly in the config files or is the temperature profile still hard-coded in the planet's modules?
