You wouldn't get me up in one of those.

Wow.

Me want one of those fly buggy things. :speakcool:

Mr Laughton

Is that his name? Is this a joke?

Top speed: 70mph (110km/h) airborne; 110mph (180km/h) road Cost: £50,000 ($76,000)

It would be faster driving :P

All thoughts considered, its not that expensive compared to a brand new car or a small plane.

Wow. That's the thing you want for commuting in a country filled with traffic jams.

One thing: how sensitive is this thing to the weather? Is it safe to fly through a storm?

Are you thinking it's pronounced "Lafft-on"? I read it as "Law-tin" or "Law-tun". Those "oughs" and "aughs" are always tricky.

You are right, it is most likely "Law-tin or Law-tun.

Those "oughs" and "aughs" are always tricky

You said that right.

I hope he brings some kind of flotation device. Even though he's traveling mostly over land, an engine failure over the channel or the strait of Gibraltar would be bad.

I have a feeling that buggy won't float on its own.

We've had a couple people in our comminity die using something like this ten years ago. Landing those critters is harder then you may think.

The JATO rockets :) that would be a fun ride :)
