Why does 2010 only let you have six quicksaves?

I've been trying to use 2010 for some missions but I've noticed that orbiter only saves six quick saves. Is this intentional? Because it really makes doing missions a lot harder.

I'm pretty sure I was able to have a lot more than 6 quick saves, so it's not Orbiter's fault. I have no idea why you have that problem, though.

What happens when you try to go for quicksave 7?

I'm afraid it's on your end. Makes quicksaves like a rabbit for me.

Sometimes it looks like quicksave is not written.
When it happened with me, i started to hold the quicksave folder opened in windows explorer (to see if save file really appears), and making backups by the scenario editor's "save..." button.

What OS are you on, and where do you have Orbiter installed?

hmm i am also having this trouble. it seems like it just doesn't make the file. I am using vista ultimate. it seems like the quick save just doesn't show up

Please answer the second half of the question:

If you have Orbiter installed to a subdirectory of "Program Files" (or "Program Files (x86)"), you'll need to disable UAC.

The easiest solution would be to install Orbiter somewhere else. I personally use "C:\Games\Orbiter 2010".
