I realize this may be redundent but in the past I had a very long list of bases in my AutoFCS dropdown. I have none now. Seems like I installed a addon in the past that put all the bases there. Does anybody have a thought on this?
Thanks

from the search engine ;):

I quote David413:

Anyway, open the KSC.cfg file and remove the comment line after the "Runway" entry.

RUNWAY ; SLF Runway 33/15

Make the line simply read "Runway" with no additional spaces after the "y" in Runway:

RUNWAY

and that should fix the problem. It did for me.

can you post the LandSiteTable please? (in the root of your orbiter folder)

I recently installed 4.5, but hadn't tried AutoFCS yet. I just looked at it just now, and I'm also seeing no bases in the list.

I think AFCS is broken in Orbiter 2010P1, and the bases don't show up. There were a few other threads where people had the same problem.

can you post the LandSiteTable please? (in the root of your orbiter folder)

Here is my table. I tried 2010 and still no bases. Im missing something.

I did a clean install with the First 2010 without the patch. Then Daves Shuttle fleet. AutoFCS still had no bases.

In 2010 without the patch it works fine provided that you add the bases to your Earth.cfg file. With the patch, it doesn't work at all.

Thats a shame. I still cant bring the Shuttle through the atmoshere manually. I sure did like AutoFCS. Maybe it will get worked out,,, I hope.

AutoFCS

This is a major downer, just got back into Orbiter when I saw that 2010 P1 came out, got up to ISS, screwed around with UMMU EVA and poked the ISS a little with the RMS, un-docked and lined her up for de-orbit now I'm stuck! Someone fix this before I run out of O2!!!

Is there any alternative to AutoFCS that works w/ 2010 P1 aside from doing it manually that I can do to occupy me in the meantime while I wait for someone smarter than me to figure this out?

That does not have an autopilot. about the afcs mfd I tried to contact the author. and so far he hasnt responded. I dont know if he still works for orbiter anymore or has a different job now. either way, someone needs to make a new type of similar system as AFCS. Im not forcing people im just suggesting because the shuttle is a very tough ship to land on a base and needs a autopilot

As a clarification - no addon authour "works" for Orbiter. All addons are written by authors who freely dedicate their and products for the benefit of the community. Because of that, the decision for the authour to upgrade Autofcs is his choice.
