Aaaah, I never knew that, I've not looked at UCGO too closely. Sounds like an awesome tool. Now I wonder, can this functionality be hacked through the API, or somehow triggered remotely... it would be a nice MFD function to 'call' for support vehicles and the like... But even without that, it will def be a thing we can code in during beta. Or rather, Carmen can.A few days late but it seems no-one answered this!
It is a feature of UCGO, called "autopilot". ... <snip>... Make good material for a Demo Video showing off the base and the functionality!
Why aye man! nice stuff, I shall have to look into all this more closely when I get to that stage of dev. Much obliged for the working example sir.I did a UCGO scenario for my Newcastle(UK) airport add-on.
EGNT(Newcastle_UK)Ver2
Newcastle UCGO Scenario.
Shameless plug over.
I could have a go at doing one for WIA Ultra once its out.
EDIT: looks like this:

just had a thought about ATC chatter: just make a new orbitersound radio channel, easy as that. [i hope]
I was thinking of doing a custom pack for WIN certainly. And yes I had thought of asking the orbiter community for vocal help. However, I'm sure I did that once before and everyone is far too shy! We shall sort something out. What might be nice is a generic 'Near Future' pack, for use with all xr dg type tech scenarios, not just limited to WIN.We could either use real ATC chatter and mash them up into a channel, or we can do a community ATC pack with all of us roleplaying controllers and pilots
Heck today I was demoing on teamsound and OMP how to vector air/spacecraft and starships for formation ops to orbit and in space.
I'll look into this stuff too, cheers. On the topic of UCGO capabilities they are almost unlimited. It's very easy to even add your own bus models (I can do a WIN Ultra livery for the bus), program support convoys, staff cars, and even refuelling trucks to automatically refuel spacecraft for launch at the start of the demo scenarios.
UCGO programmed cars in action look like this:

I released a couple of scenarios with the XR5 Russian and Japanese repaints as well, which use the above setup for a drive to the ship and 3 landspeeders as chase vehicles for the takeoff run.
As for AIA bus liveries and such, don't worry, AIA is already expecting to commission some Carmen art work
And cheers for the space food stuff so far! Perfectly amusing! Big thanks.
