I didn't notice it in any of the pictures I was looking at, any idea what font/colour?

Sorry guys, I think the AEB DGIV skin might take a while, I haven't skinned for the DGIV in a while and it is quite a lot different than XR2 skinning, I'll keep working on it, but it might be quite a wait. So, for now as I work on the AEB skin, only XR Fleet requests. (When I'm taking requests, that is.)

I'll try and find that tagline somewhere. I had a FedEx truck coming to my door everyday for 6 years before I noticed the arrow in the logo. :facepalm: Don't feel bad.

I've finally found a picture that shows the "The World On Time" clearly enough to identify the font, I'll figure out what font it is and add it, then I'll upload it soon. :thumbup:

Edit: To me, I'd say it's undeniably Bookman Old Style (How popular is this font? :P) so I'll add it and then upload it. :thumbup:

As I said earlier, I'm taking a little break, just keep an eye on this thread for when I start taking requests again. :thumbup:

Also, sorry guys, but I don't think I can do the AEB DGIV skin, maybe somebody who's more experienced with skinning the DGIV might be able to make one, but I can't, so from now on, only XR Fleet skin requests. (Still not taking requests.)

I might be able to do the DGIV requests,including the AEB one so im free for requests.Only five at a time.The next five will have to wait until the first five skins are done.

Edit: Are there any better pictures of the plane/s? I can't seem to find any at all, there are a few details I really can't make out in those pictures.

With the AEB logo, do you just want the planet and orbit part or do you want to include the text?

Also, I haven't figured out what the font on the sides is, any help with that would be appreciated, you guys seem to be way better at figuring out fonts than me. :thumbup:
 
For the logo, I'd appreciate having the planet and orbit only.

I was looking for something like the NASA skin of the XR2 (country flag in one wing, agency logo in the other and, in this case, the agency name on both sides of the fuselage just behind the windows).

I'm afraid I don't know which font was used in the logo. Behind the windows, it would be great to have a small Brazilian flag and the "Agência Espacial Brasileira" inscription.

This was the biggest resolution logo I was able to find:

I'd love to see somebody do a full-on Wunala Dreaming skin, for any craft!! That has got to be one of the loudest paintjobs in town. Perhaps aside from Air berlin's yellow logo or DHL's. Actually no, I hate that scheme, it's ugly!

@Pyromaniac If you are taking any more requests for skins, since you did a decent job with the Friendship skin, how about an Eastern Airlines and/or PSA and/or old NorthWest airlines livery?

Despite the simple stripe and basic tail fin graphics common to these three - I suppose the challenge would be the nose job. There are significant cues in the Eastern and PSA liveries.

I also think a good source for logos and airline graphics are those retro-sites that have scanned brochures and timetables.

Anyways, I passed your United airlines skin on to the now long-retired captain that piloted my first jet plane ride. It was most certainly a hit! I'm sure he'll swing around here sooner or later. What a way to introduce Orbiter!

How's that looking? I'm using Arial as the font for now until I can figure out what the actual one is, unless you're happy with it. :shrug:
