OHM Spider Lunar Lander *Beta v2.3*

In the orbit scenario, I get a CTD. At Brighton Beach, the Spider is invisible. I have installed spacecraft4, so what could be the problem?

This addon doesn't use spacecraft4, so that wouldn't help anyway. What you likely need is mscvr100.dll. The addon author already posted information on how to get it, which I've quoted below:

msvcr100 is part of the Windows 7 runtime library.

I forgot that VS2010 (the program I used to compile the addon) included it as a default dependancy. This will be adressed in future releases but until then...

There's also a newer version of this Lunar Module included with the AAPO addon, also by Hlynkacg.

Really a super job with the colors and textures of this LM There is a project under way to do an Apollo lunar base. There is a new hard suit done and will need a LM truck to carry the base. You really should look to make this UMMU compatible and use LOLA as your AP

PDI to brighton beach

I was curious about how the combintion of the spider lander and PursuitMFD.landingAP would work together. Made two landing sims based on stock scenario: one unchanged, and one with Pericyntium lowerd to 15k-Apollo style.
(All done in Orbiter2010)

In both cases i came in with the last drop of fuel, gas gauge reading 100 prior to touchdown, but it worked.

Different to doing it with other vessels, where the MFD let it touch the ground softly, the engine shut down at 1m height in both sims and let it drop, wich indeed is good Apollo style.

But then, after sounding the wellknown rubber-wheel-screech, the spider bounced into NaN, orbit params non sensical,CTD after few seconds.

Can you give me a hint, what happens here?
Since it seems to be a vessel- not a MFD-issue. :tiphat:

This is an issue with the new Orbiter 2016 collision models, I've started working on a fix, along with revamped cockpit and subsystem modeling but my real-job has kept me from taking the time to finish it.

As an aside, the historical Apollos touched down with an average of 400 lbs of propellant remaining in the descent tanks, or about twenty seconds of burn time. That's around 180 kg so if you're landing with 100 kg remaining you're actually pretty damn close.

No, no, no! I did it in Orbiter2010:idk:

But maybe you fix two issues at once but i also suggest to keep an Orbiter2010-version of the Spider-lander;
this is not the end of it.

Bob Carlton(TELMU): "We always wanted to have a margin, when we landed, we didn't want to land empty)...
the impossible has happened, we don't gonna make it!"
It seems PursuitMFD.Land to fly a different trajectory then the PNGS, more shallow at start, more steep at low gate and long hovering before touchdown.

AFAIS my touchdown Crash has nothing to to with the MFD
