:( 3 people online, but could not see them! and neither they saw me! what to do?

HELP :facepalm:

Did you try the "STUN analysis" button in the Network tab? It will check your internet connection for possible NAT pitfalls.

=== STUN analysis ===
Your system is not receiving UDP packets at all. Possible causes are restrictive firewalls, routers or ISPs. Best course of action here is to check these elements for settings outside of default, or - if it is e.g. a corporate firewall - to establish proper port-forwarding to a custom port.
Use custom port setting with an arbitrary port that you forwarded.
=====================

Right, that's unfortunate, as the standard hole-punching method will not work for you. You'll have to use port-forwarding. I've written a small FAQ in the docs that covers that question.

What kind of internet access do you have, if I might ask?

my connection is Radio (offered via external antenna)

According to the ping measurement you have send me, you must have Satellite Internet access or something slow like that.
Your average delay is 471ms (~ 1/2 sek or 3.5km in LEO) :zzz:
"Mínimo = 409ms, Máximo = 515ms, Média = 471ms"

You may not be able to play ANY real-time multiplayer simulation or game over a connection like that. IMHO latency needs to be < 150ms to play online.

While it is true that this would make any FPS game practically unplayable, it should be fine for OMP, as it will compensate for the latency, anyway. The result might just be a bit more jumpy, but that's it.

I think MessiGamer's troubles may come from two reasons:
1. NAT problems
2. No way to determine what kind of NAT problems there are.

My attempt to solve number 2 by using the STUN analysis built into OMP might have failed, because I only recently realized that it is perhaps not working since a while now... stunserver.org seems to be down. I've already fixed it by means of implementing the successor RFC of STUN (the old is now called CLASSIC by Wireshark :huh: ) as well as an XML setting to set the server and port used for the analysis.

Stay tuned for a 0.7.4 release soon.
