After setting the reference AoA, you used to be able to change it with Shift+Num8 or Shift+Num2. Now that I have upgraded to orbiter 2010 and Aerobrake 0.96.1, it seems I can no longer do this. Is this a glitch, or am I the only one?
This is the XR2. I launched to get into LEO, then thought I could set up IMFD to do a free return with the moon. I was wrong. It seems no matter what I do, I can't get a free return trajectory that returns close to earth unless my perigee altitude above the moon is over 2 Megameters. I would...
You know, all I ever wanted to be was a commercial space pilot. Consider this my resume...

XR1 launch was from KSC 33. Lifted off and pitched past vertical then rolled to the correct heading. Used scram after mach 3.5 (the video doesn't show this). I settled out at about 1900 m/s...
I recorded a short hypersonic flight of me in the XR1 from Cape Canaveral to Habana. However, during playback, the scram engines don't light up and their throttle levers don't move, and the apparent amount of scram fuel doesn't change. Is this a known thing? Too bad... it was a fairly cool flight :(
Is there a tutorial that shows how to do this? I know the default documentation shows what the two-plane course is, but how exactly do you use it? The "Prep. P1C" is involved somehow, but how do you know when to press it? Thanks!
I tried editing the \Config\DeltaGLiderXR1Prefs.cfg file to change my crew, but I can't seem to get it to work. The crew always stays the same. The relevant portion of the config file is shown below. What am I doing wrong?

I was going to use BaseSync to help me land at brighton beach. My orbit passes right over the beach, so I thought when I brought up BaseSync, it would have the normal "Time: Dist: Heading:" stuff with the lowest entry in the "Dist:" column being close to zero. However, all I have are 2 columns...
Where do you write these and how do you guess the correct values for your ship? For many of my ships, aerobrake does a terrible job when the AoA or bank autopilot is engaged, and the ship gets into bigger and bigger oscillations (especially when there is little dynamic pressure).
In the DGIV, I usually use basesync mfd to line up my orbit, set the perigee to 30-40km when on the opposite side of the world (usually makes an entry angle of 1.3 or so), set the autopilot to do AoA hold at 35 degrees, and then I watch the map display of aerobrake and play with the bank and AoA...
Is there anyway to turn on lights in the Shuttle Fleet or DG or DGIV...? It's really annoying when I rendezvous with another spacecraft that I want to dock with or deliver a payload to, when suddenly, I cross into night and can't see a thing.
What do I have to do to the scenario file to get a docking port in the Shuttle Fleet craft? For that matter, how do you do add/remove the docking port on the default atlantis?
I downloaded and installed the Lunar Transfer System from Andy44. I launched a tanker into orbit, and then made the following scenario

I wanted to install the LC39-EAFB 2006.3 Hi-Res mod from http://www.gule.it/Orbiter/ so I would have a cool looking place to take off and land at (Cape Canaveral). It has several prereqs, so I installed those first...

Can someone tell me how to reenter on-target with cape canaveral from the ISS with the Delta Glider (or shuttle or whatever)? I can't find where to download BaseSync MFD, so provide the link if you use that. If you use AeroBrake MFD, explain how to do the entry burn with it since it won't show...
So, I was in a nearly circular orbit in Atlantis at about 360km altitude and within 0.01 degrees of the ISS' plane. After turning on the prograde autopilot and burning at perigee to make my apogee higher in order to let the ISS catch up to me, the difference in planes was 0.13 degrees and was...
