Oo, my first post on the new? forum. Hey all.

I realize the forum has been around for a while, but I've been away from Orbiter for a long time. Luckily I've always made a backup of the default Orbiter 2006 P1 files plus another backup of the actual version of Orbiter with the all the addons that I play with.

I have a scenario that I always use called "All Ships" and it contains quite a few addons/ships from several different sources. I have no problems with the scenario at all as I have installed and added everything correctly etc..

I just have a question regarding Greg Burch's great addons Airdock2 and Celestium3. They are both in my scenario All Ships, but I wanted to know if it's possible to add a couple more Airdock2's? or possibly another Celestium3?

No matter what I try they just don't appear when I go to add them through the scenario editor. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with config folder. I've tried tinkering with the .cfgs in config/vessel folder, but to no avail.

Does any1 know what I have to change in order to get more than 1 Airdock2 into my scenario? or if it's even possible?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.:)

Unfortunately, because these are spacecraft3.dll vessels, the scenario editor won't work on them. I know there's a "fix" for this by which you create a .cfg file that leads you to sc3 and the appropriate .ini file, but I've honestly never looked into that closely enough to know how to do it.

The way I do this is with manual scenario editing and just copying and pasting the .ini files with new names so there's a vessel1.ini, vessel2.ini etc.

Hehehe, Thanks Greg. I just figured it out during the last half hour after I posted.

I knew I had to tinker somewhere, I just couldn't remember where as I've been away from Orbiter for soooo long. I was buggering around with the vessel folder .cfgs before and it wasn't workin.

Then I noticed the reference in the .scn editor to the Spacecraft/spacecraft3 and that lead to me to .ini's. Then it made sense.

I add them with the scenario editor (ie. I added 2 airdock2's and called them Airdock2-A and Airdock2-B, but of course they were invisible at first.) Then quit orbiter and went to the config/spacecraft folder and duplicated 2 copies of the Airdock2.ini and renamed them airdock2-A.ini and Airdock2-B.ini.

Finally I just copied the line Airdock2-A:Spacecraft\Spacecraft3 and Airdock2-B:Spacecraft\Spacecraft3 in my All Ships.scn file where the new Airdock2's appear and then loaded the scenario and all was well. No more invisible Airdock2's.:)

In other words I basically did as you suggested in your last line LOL. Still, I can't believe I spent 2 hours on this prior to posting.

Thanks for your help, but mostly thanks for your great add-ons! I just grabbed your building blocks 4.0 and 4.1 and can't wait to throw something together. Although i'm gettin a little concerned as to the amount of stuff I have in this all ships.scn lol.

Thanks Again
