Advanced Question Atlantis elevation trim

Hello and thank you I am posting a question after 7 years I m not active in this forum...

Why the default Atlantis space craft trim elevator doesn't work??
I find the elevator trim very efficient on other crafts .
Is there any way to make it work??

Well, honestly I don't mess around much with the stock Atlantis. I can fly it pretty well now (after some years of messing around with other craft). As soon as I figured out some of the basics, I moved on to Davids Shuttle Fleet. (google search for it, it can be found at the simviation site).

I haven't found much need for elevator trim with it either. I generally let AutoFCS take over while I go get a cup of coffee and enjoy the ride.

Of course you don't make large use of it, AutoFCS DOES it on your behalf ( and let you enjoy your coffe)
