I want to improve the Speed of the procedural loading on Orulex, I've got it down to about 5 seconds for high quality, but I'm trying to find a way of improving the Anisotropic Filtering in Orulex, or through Orbiter, which way do I do it and how? I've almost got a perfect version of Orbiter now

it is the filtering of the lo-res to hi-res textures, I wish to improve the speed of it

Ok, slow down and enlarge your sentences.
I still don't get what do you change, what effects do you see from these changes, and what do you want to see.

The textures - surftiles and tex files - are scaled in the code, by simple interpolation, and that part is not tunable

If you mean the apparent texture resolution, then it can be tuned by various cfg parameters, but there is no perfect solution in the existing system that i know of.

Okay thank you for the information, I will use this to improve what I have already.

Thank you for a wonderful add-on to orbiter!

You may lock this topic.

Unless there is a specific reason as agreed by the staff we do not lock topics for the simple reason that others, at a later date, may have more to contribute or wish to discuss the topic further. To close the thread just because one person has an answer would be to deny others an option to contribute.

Thank you, that essentially is a better way to operate the forum anyway, I apologise I just didn't know you didn't lock, most other forums I've been to are lock-happy
