Installation Concerning 'recommended add-ons'

Before I get too far ahead in my game-play, I saw that there is a 'recommended add-on' mod page.

My question is that some addons look to be doubles. Planet textures are one example.

Earth is listed twice but one says 'L10' and the other says 'L11'......are these new revisions or just a two part mod?

Of course, I dont need all of them but I didnt want to D/L duplicates either.

L10 and L11 are texture levels, i.e. higher texture level is higher resolution. Higher resolution means larger download size and higher hardware requirements.

The listed at 'Recommended add-ons' page L10 and L11 Earth textures also look quite different, because they use different texture sources.

Additionally, Earth Level 11 will blend with Orbiter 2010-P1 standard textures, because it was made for them, and to make the same for the Earth Level 10, you will need to download also Earth [L8] (level 8) from the same page (LandSAT textures).

Note that the Earth [L10]/Earth [L8] textures were made for Orbiter 2006, and positions of some surface bases may be off while using them.
