Hi there, I've just this minute downloaded the new version of Orbiter...(2010) and also the Delta Glider IV 2....the first thing I did was to go to the "Landed KSC departure to ISS" scenario in DGIV...and lo and behold, I noticed I was sitting quite a way off the runway...does anyone know the reason for this, as I haven't touched a thing...just loaded the scenario....yet in the old version, I was lined up on the runway ...help !....Regards, Trevor

the runways at KSC are in a different location in 2010 vs. 2006. the scenarios with the DGIV are for 2006.

Hi there..thanks for your reply...I appreciate it...

But all I did was launch Orbiter 2020, go to the Landed at KSC scenario...I did not use the old scenario...I assumed I would be on the runway....so what coordinates do I need to put in to be on the runway?..any ideas?...you couldn't check your scenario could you ?

what you can do, and it is a simple step really, is make sure the scenario editor is enabled in your modules tab before starting, and then fire up the sim, hit F4, then click on custom, click scenario editor, and then using the box that pops up youll be able to do a bunch of things, and be able to move the DG to the runway. You can then save the scenario with any name you like, and start the scen normally and your glider will be there everytime

You can use the scenario editor to fix it. Or just take the coordinates from a default Deltaglider scenario.

Alternatively open the scenario file, and look at this part. Then replace the coordinates by those I've written in bold :

Code:
GL-01:DeltaGliderIV
  STATUS Landed Earth
  [B]POS -80.6831310 28.5977590
  [/B]HEADING 330.00
  RCSMODE 0
  AFCMODE 7
  PRPLEVEL 0:1.000000 1:1.000000 2:1.0000000
  IDS 0:45 100
  NAVFREQ 94 524
  XPDR 0
  ;(then lots of other parameters)
END

Another accurate source for ground coordinates is Google Earth (think to set the coordinates format to "decimal").

Hi...thank you for your help, I really appreciate....kind regards

also if you were still wondering why it happened you are still using the old scenario because unless its been corrected the dgiv2 does not have updated scenarios and thus you are using the "old" ones still.
