General Question easiest way to get to the moon?

Well, the short (and smart-alacky) answer is use the scenario editor.

But, there should be a video playback available in your Orbiter start-up screen that has a demonstraiton of a flight to the moon, starting from KSC.

And, grab this...http://www.amcsorley.dsl.pipex.com/play_in_space.htm

There are several video tutorials on youtube, snorkelmonkey has some good ones. Blixel is a heck of a pilot, and he has some video tutorials, same with Tex. Both use different methods to get to the moon than "Go Play In Space", but GPIS uses the stock-no frills MFDs to get you there.

(youtube is blocked here at work, so I can't send you any links ATM).

Easiest way (fewest clicks) - along the lines of PhantomCruiser's thinking
1. Start the Orbiter Launchpad
2. Double click the scenario folder named 'Delta Glider'
3. Select the scenario titled 'Brighton Beach'
4. Click 'Launch Orbiter'

Seriously though, Phantom Cruiser and Cras hit the nail on the head. Go Play in Space will teach you the basics, then LunarTransfer MFD will make it even easier.

first get into orbit. use align plane mfd to aline with the moon then use tranfer mfd. Press hto then hold down Dv+ until the green dotted line reaches the yellow circle. Then use ej+ and ej- until the white line is close to the yellow dotted line. Then wait until you reech the green dotted line then prograde burb until your green eclipse maches the dotted one then your on your way to the moon
