First flight to the moon completely by accident!

Wow. I still can't believe I did this. I'm a total Orbiter noob..Pretty much all I can do is take off and orbit the Earth.

I had taken off from Cape Canaveral and got into orbit with a Delta Glider. I was bored so I started mucking around with the Orbit MFD to see how far out I could go. It...went REALLY far out. When I reached the end/top of the orbit (I don't know the terminology) and started going back towards Earth, I somehow 'met' the Moon. I did a retrograde burn and boom. I was orbiting the Moon.

Congrats! I remember My first docking was on accident...I was showing orbiter to my dad and I docked...xD

many things were accidents once, such as my first orbit. when I started playing orbiter, I thought it was a flight sim. so I fired the engines, got bored, and went to make a sandwich. and whadayaknow, i was in a stable (0.001 Eec) orbit.
