EDIT: By the way, if the XR2 was real, would this be cooler than when Miku was "sent" to Venus (in the form of images on aluminum plates on the Akatsuki probe)?

XR5J Sheryl Nome custom

I referred to various Japanese aircraft and rockets ranging from the recently launched H-II, the Mitsubishi F-2 (former FS-X) and the Ki43 Oscar of WW2 vintage.

Oh and of course, Sheryl too. :3

The XR5J, a locally assembled project by Mitsubishi and Fuji Heavy Industries in partnership, incorporates several improvements over the basic Vanguard design:

- Improved TPS over the cockpit and crew escape hatches (they are individually painted and marked)
- Ram air turbine (intakes on dorsal rear area) to supply hydraulic and electrical power in flight, removing the need to run the APU full time
- Improved engine section cooling

These are of course purely cosmetic work but it shows you can do a lot of things with a texture without adding to file size or poly count :3
