Construction on my Biodome is complete i have just got to sort out the plants now.

The basement is empty at the moment apart from a stone generator.

/cmodify name [name] .. - adds privileges for [name] on lwc protection (seperate multiple names with spaces)
/cmodify -name [-name] ... removes privileges for [name] on lwc protection.

my BioDome is due West of Sammys castle -1350 , -1000

I'm thinking smooth stone for the actual runway, and a huge load of black/white wool for the shuttle itself, and any runway indicators.

I would make it on the x axis, seeing as Minecraft doesn't really go diagonally. Otherwise, I like it.

I already thought about it when i chose the location. I like authenticity

Of course, why wouldn't i? I already took measurements from google earth.

Plus i saw a great youtube video of someone's shuttle landing and the first 1/8th or so of the runway:

The image you posted showed the runway being rather less than full size. It should be 4.5km long

Let's see, you would need around 6500 stacks of cobblestone for that (90 x 4500 blocks),
875 stacks of coal for burning it, and a stack of diamond pickaxes for mining all that stuff,
which should take around 35 hours. With 100 furnaces, burning should take 12 hours.
I think it could be done in 2 or more months.
