cool the 601st launch so lro was the 600th?

I too have noticed this and this is because it's set up is very similar to the Orbit MFD if you had a perigee below Earth's surface.

No, DMSP F18 was. That launch was at Vandenberg AFB on October 18.

ok i only watch launches from the cape becuse i only know about them when i find em which is fairly rare but i always see the shuttle launches

Intelsat 14 has had a successful launch into it's target orbit! Spacecraft seperation took place at T+118 minutes and 5 seconds, or at 3:53 A.M. Here are some really nice pictures:
