OHM International Space Station v.3.2

In STS-88, Endeavour autopilot sent me to 2º RInc. Is this correct or am I doing something wrong?

When I set 40.8º for launch azimuth and wait some time to launch (T-10 when Endeavour eq. LAN is 32.08º), I get almost zero RInc.

I know that the launch date is accurate, is there something wrong with scenario's ISS orbital data?

Or is it an autopilot problem?

I am trying the first ISS 1998 scenario which uses the add-on and now scrapped Shuttle Fleet. I can't get the paylad bay doors panel to open after hitting 'SPACE'. I have tried everything.

space? no no, it's the K key...then give it a minute.

Autopilot problem. It goes off course during the roll to heads up manuver if you aimn for the exact heading.

I meant space key to bring up the ODS dialog box.

That is a limitation of using Shuttle Fleet with ISS V3.2. You see, to support the ODS that comes with ISS, the shuttle fleet author added a feature that creates a docking port on the shuttle but not the shuttle fleet ODS. As a result of this setup, the ODS panel isn't able to be used. (the same as if you had a shuttle with no ODS, you can not bring up the ODS panel).

I actually was about to bring up this issue just before the SF author left the
community. Hope that explains the problem. Its not really a bug, just a built-in limitation.

You can still use SF's ODS if you want. It does create some issues. I wouldn't recommend it, but you can do it.

I have searched and searched but haven't found anything about the problem I am having with STS 88. When I grapple the Unity module it starts slowly rotating randomly pivoting at the grapple point, I tried a different mission just to see if it did it with other payloads, but it did not. I haven't tried them all though. Has anyone else had this problem or have any idea why it does this?

I'm using Windows XP sp3, Orbiter 2010 p1, ISS v.3.2, Shuttle Fleet 4.8 r2

Autopilot problem. It goes off course during the roll to heads up manuver if you aimn for the exact heading.

When I wrote the original code for the thrust vectoring, control, and autopilot 6 years ago, I left the yaw available for manual control for fine tuning during ascent, some features have been added since I wrote the original code, and apparently my documentation of that fact has been lost in the intervening period, but it seems the core is still pretty much the same. Yawing will introduce a bit of bank, but the autopilot will correct it to wings level in a short time.

I personally use the Map MFD zoomed in all the way set to Track. with the dsp setting changed to plane from ground track, and the station selected as target, along with the Align Planes MFD to aid in the fine tuning process. With practice you can get the Rinc really low during ascent.

---------- Post added at 08:43 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:02 AM ----------

And it should be noted that manual control during ascent works more like flying an airplane than the virtual thrusters approach normally used in orbiter, in that it will self cancel all rotations with no input (but without "weather vaning" or trying to roll wings level without the autopilot), so it is best to use a joystick for a purely manual ascent. It is also why generic launch autopilot MFD's won't work.

sorry this line is what is wrong with 005 Zvezda (ProtonK)
just copy the file ZVG.txt from config/vessels/ISSR to config/vessels/proton_LV
I don't know if it is needed for something else so I copyed not moved

rename your Kibo from kibo:kibo to Kibo:spacecraft\spacecraft3, as I'm going to guess you're using the Kibo from ISS A to Z.

You need the Universal Cargo Deck addon.

Kyle last question do you have cupola.cfg? My cupola bugged. Problem fixed i downloaded cupola from Donamy.

Is it possible to attach the Dragon from Donamy's Dragon update to the Harmony Nadir node? I tried using the attachment mananger, but it didn't seem to work.

I tried the Zvezda launch scenario, but the Proton isn't able to build a stable orbit (about 130 x 80 km).

Here's the guidance file data:

0 40 89.5 88 0
40 100 88 30 0
100 123 30 23 0
123 200 23 22 0
200 330 22 20 0
330 500 20 8 0
500 568 8 4 0
568 585 4 1 1
565 578 1.5 1 2

Anybody has a better ascent profile for Proton + Zvezda?

How to use the XR2 with this?

I just installed this ISS and its accessible in its own folder on the launch pad window. It looks fantastic by the way. The sceneries that work that is. I need the appropreate ad-ons I suppose. Also, how do I get this ISS to replace the default one? Cause when I launch my "XR2 docked at ISS" scenerio, its not this new and better looking ISS?
