OHM Jarvis Heavy Launch Vehicle 2.75

You have two options:
1: press "P" immediately after the launch and take control
2: launch one of the scenarios of the "Quicklaunch" folder.

And... 3: read the doc. :tiphat:

Actually, you can press P before it launches (if there is a countdown timer in the lower left corner).

I keep getting the following error when trying to launch with the mod, and yes I have spacecraft3.dll

Here is the log file:

Can you post the scenario file as well?

It is nearly any scenario-file that uses any of their mods bugs up. Choose one, and it is buggy.

I've never had an issue with any of their scenario files. The reason I requested a scenario file was to track down the ini that has probably not been installed or installed into the wrong location.

[NAME]:spacecraft/spacecraft3 tells the spacecraft3.dll file to read directives from [NAME].ini which is located in config/spacecraft3

If you'd posted the scenario I could have pointed out the exact issue but as you didn't all I can do is give you the general idea of the issue.

Here is one:

Correct.

EDIT: I have no clue exactly what I did, but now the addons work. I am very beleagured, and I don't really care, spending nearly 20 hours looking through each attempted installation, now I need to sleep...

Unfortunately this wonderful addon doesn't seem to be compatible with the directx 9 client. Is it possible to make it compatible?

It certainly is compatible. My guess here is that you are not setting up the dynamic links correctly. Search the D3D9 client thread to find out how. If you are running under Vista/7, the client can even make them for you.

Thank you for pointing that out :), I've always wondered what that "Create symbolic links" menu was about. Now I can enjoy this beautiful addon at 250 fps!

THANK YOU! Somehow I completely missed the discovery of the method of making spacecraft3 and multistage2 vehicles to work in D3D9. Now I'm enjoying the add-on even better!

Thank you!:tiphat:

Now, from D3D9 R5c and up, the client makes them in XP, too.

I am lost.
The Jarvis Heavy Launch Vehicle 2.62 cause a CTD in the D3D 9 client, but load fine in the vanilla version of Orbiter 2010 P1.
Even the Quasar Super Heavy Launch Vehicle 2.51 load fine in the D3D 9 client.
I tried the Symbolic links in the video tab, but it reported that the symbolic links are already up to date.

It seems that you have a problem there. I don't know if that is relevant, but you should check it anyway. You are obviously missing a mesh for some sort of base.

Soon, the 2.7 version. The rockets have been entirely repainted and will be introduced the Jarvis H "Block II", that finally replaces the old shuttle SRB with new solid boosters derived from the first stage of the Neptune-1 rocket (another FOI rocket). Sharing of components!

Jarvis H "Block II" on the launchpad. Repainted and with the new Neptune-derived boosters. Ariane style!
