Hi all. I've not messed about with this sim in a very very long time, but I thought I'd dust it off and have a go at a launch and lunar transfer in the DG. But I've run into a snag. Usually for heading to the moon, I select map, target the moon and then wait til the orbit line is lined up over my launch point to cut down on having to waste fuel aligning planes and so on. However the moon on the map view isn't showing the familiar flowing S shaped orbit line like the ISS does, it just shows a flat line and I can no long tell when it's orbit is aligned to my position for my launch window. Is this a bug or has something changed in the sim?

Press "DSP" on the MapMFD and change Orbit lines to "Orbit plane" rather than "Ground track".

ed. Orbit plane was the only mode available in Orbiter 2006 MapMFD, Ground track is the default mode for Orbiter 2010.

Also you can target the Moon with the Align MFD and launch when Tn = 350 to 320.

Thanks. Everything working as I remember now. Now if only I could get my mind around transx. I can get from Earth to Moon using transfer MFD, but transx just leaves me confused.
