Try the Universal AutoPilot (by Artlav). Or like Kyle said, go manual. With UAP, I keep an eye on the AlignPlanes MFD, and use the numpad 1 and 3 key to nudge the rocket in the direction I need to minimize the Rinc.

Can you post a link to it? Yesterday I did a dual Pollux-Castor/Falcon 9 launch and switched back to find the Falcon 9 upper stage spinning end over end. Before that it once flew round and round in circles, and another time it insisted on going up to an altitude of over 2000km.

Post #140 has the "latest" revision. But I'd advise you to read the entire thread; there is plenty of discussion here about some of the quirks. And dude, some of the demos are really cool. Not all of them will work (like they need add-ons that you may not have). But the stock DG to Luna station (launch, all the way to docking) is pretty amazing, particularly when it even works at time compression X100 (or more).
I under-utilize UAP, but it's a pretty good tool. It's still an alpha release, so it's a work in progress. But a very useful tool nonetheless.

Thanks. :tiphat:

Its up now! Enjoy.

Also - STS-144 is the last of the seriously complex missions. STS-145 will be easier.

To note, STS-145 will launch out of Wideawake. Needed scenarios updated.

I think that was the seventh flight, not the sixth as you posted in the Pre-Flight Scenarios thread. Those were some very nice pictures of it, by the way.

Corrected.

Appreciate the compliment. ;)

Expedition 2 launches on Tuesday. Solar424, I have just sent your scenario.

Little note - First XR2 scenario for OFSS2 has been completed :)

Will use the XR5 for a October 2011 launch.

I thought we were using only current and plausable near-future technology to build the station? The XRs are very nice ships indeed, but they pretty much run on magic.

Lets just say that in the OFSS II universe we have built XR ships

They're beautiful ships, and the XR5 can carry a lot of payload. ;)

XR2 will probably use DG-Launcher out of Wideawake.
