And I'll be doing a show on Friday 22:00-23:00 BST which will feature music, space news, trivia and other odd bits and pieces. I hope you can join me!

If I can work out a way to do it without causing horrendous feedback I'll do a Skype phone-in show, which has been discussed at length in IRC.

TSP's Waddle Time radio is on the air right now! Tune in!

Yep. Waddle Time is live!
Ping me on IRC for feedback. Requests via IRC ONLY and at your own risk!

I like the idea of a Skype-in. I'm keen to do something like that myself as I think anything that's interactive will be a lot more fun.

Just curious, on the "Current Listener Locations" map I see "MPEG OVERIDE" is in three countries at the same time.
Is he/she a Time Lord?

N.

I see the country names there. Something is broken on your end...

I looked into this myself earlier. I believe MPEG_OVERRIDE is the name it gives the player embedded in the stream page, that little flash widget thing.

Also, that map shows countries but not location, so you'll appear in the centre of your country regardless of where you are :P

Nice - my winamp shows 192kb/s bitrate :D

No problems, I can hear you all quite well, just looking at the map, as you do...

N.

That would be correct. Want me to make it show you 420kbit/s?

Better not, the server's only supposed to let you broadcast 48... that'd be pushing it a little, mate :P

Really? Sorry, I thought it was 480... Must've misread :P
Autostream didn't kick in, so I am keeping the wave busy with some sweet Norah Jones for the time being.

Yeah, I disengaged autostream before I left for work, and forgot to tell it to reconnect when you were done. :P Thanks for the keepalive.

Users banned from OF are ineligible to become DJs on Orbiter Radio, I'm afraid.

In other news, our pipe has now been widened to 128Kbps. Enjoy!

Any chance of archiving? Maybe like a podcast or something.

Not at present. I don't think the license allows for it, but I'll look into it.
