Don't mind in the slightest. The more listeners the merrier.

Thanks to some interesting behaviour by PayPal (Cancelling the subscription without my knowledge and randomly dropping my bank account from the paypal account...) I have shifted the server while the money is sorted out.

You can tune in here for now.

Abnormal service has now been resumed. The last post can be disregarded and you can tune in using http://orbiterradio.thruhere.net/ again.

hurrah, great news Xyon and thanks for the updates. I was starting to worry that the orbiter community would have to forgo my show on Friday.

Nah, we'd never let that happen mate.

In other news, skype broadcasting is now (hopefully) fully fixed from my end, so I am good to go to host call in shows.

Further to the discussion in IRC, there will be a talk show tonight at 18:00 GMT. Those wishing to take part let me know either here, in PM or IRC. I'll compile a final list of 6 at most at around 17:30 GMT and we'll get going.

Bear in mind you can jump in and out at any time. :)

I just say one thing: "Penguin Taxiing System" (PTS)

Tonight I will be mixing progressive trance on Orbiter radio. I was scheduled to start at 10pm EST, but I'm not sure if Epsilon's show ends an hour later still. In that case my show will come on at 11pm EST.

Scatman John! Ahah, that is the guy.

I made the adjustment to the schedule. So 10PM EST is your start time for future reference. :)

Real smooth radio operations, guys. Thanks for that.

TSPenguin is doing an impromptu broadcast right now!

I wound up doing one myself, too :P

In other news, Pablo49's timeslot for tonight is going begging for anyone who wants it, right before Gary's show.

I can start my show an hour early tonight.

I listened to a little of Xyon's show earlier. Good work guys

Trainwreck turned into a ten hour radio chat show last night. Again. Thanks to TSP and Gary for joining in. :)

Hey Xyon, I will need to cancel my show for the time being. It turns out I have another commitment starting this Friday..

Wish me luck! I'll probably do another show again, but right now my only free time from work will be dedicated to the league.

Good luck with the league, Tex!

Also, my Friday show this week will be all classical for the first half or so. Specifically feature "The Planets" by Gustav Holst. So if you enjoy classical, tune in. If not, return for the second half of my show, were we return to normal music.

No worries mate, good luck with the league. We'll keep a slot open for you some time. ;)

Actually, that looks damn tempting. If I could drive in rFactor a little better...

Some weeks ago now the idea of having an MFD for stream information / control / playback etc was suggested. I've had a bash at it, and what I have so far is an MFD which can poll the server automatically (and does, every 20 seconds) for metadata information. At the minute, it can't do anything else, like stream the actual music - I will admit, I'm still in the headscratching stage of making that work.

If I can make that work properly, would it be of use to anyone?

Also, if anyone has any ideas on how best to make it play the music, I'm all ears. I sent DanSteph a PM on his board yesterday, since he wrote OrbiterSound I'm interested in his opinion on whether I can pass the data to that to make it play music, but so far I've not had a reply.

PS: The lads in IRC have already made several comments about the orbit and attitude of the DG in this shot - seriously, I was not paying attention to the flightplan during that test run :P
