ORI-01 "GunSlinger" is a go!
The delta-shuttle is being loaded up with the cargo and we expect to see launch at around 1630GMT this evening from Acsension Island private space complex in the Atlantic.
The Mission is to put into orbit a new generation of telescope called the ORIGazer/OGTAS (OrionGalaxy Telescopic Array Sensor) this satellite will have an expected lifespan of about 1 year and in that time should answer alot of puzzling questions about our galaxy and beyond!
as we speak the ORI-01 Delta-Shuttle is being readied for its maiden flight and all looks good so far!
The Delta-Shuttle will launch into an orbit approximatly 500Km x 500Km and then release its payload for function, it will then return to Acsension Island about 22hours after launch.
The flight Roster for this launch involves:
Capt. Michael Broadhead (5 years of space missions)
Eng. Bradley Banister (Specialist engineer for 10 years)
Eng. Christopher Coles (Engineer with NASA for 5 years)
