Hello Orbiteers,
you have voted that the letter Φ should be on the Mission patch for my balloon project. Now here is a sketch I made:
What you can see there is supposed to be Earth's limb with the atmosphere between Earth and Space like on this image:

At the "north" end of the Earth should be an aurora, like indicated by the three waves there. The Sun at the top should have the sun's spectrum in the longest ray in the center. The lines to the right should indicate a cosmic ray shower like this: http://www.ngdc.noaa.gov/stp/SOLAR/COSMIC_RAYS/image/shower.gif
The Φ should be included in the place it is in the sketch but you are free to make it look like how you want it!
The ring outside should be white and say "Project Στρατóσφαιρα" in the top half. For the lower half I open a poll here until Sunday, April 11.
And now you: I would like you to make mission patches like that and then we could have a little contest, after which I would choose one of the designs (and I'll think of a little prize too of course
). I would appreciate if people take part and thank you in advance
