Well, let me just say that when the Mrs. Cruiser decides that she really wants me to stop messing around on the computer, I don't have to guess what she has in mind. I've had several failed Orbiter missions because of her.

I'm having trouble deciding if she is trying to save money by not hiring a clothing designer or she is actually paying someone big money to come up with that:

I think I will move to L.A. and go into fashion business. I will buy clothes from Salvation Army and sell them on Rodeo Drive. After the brand is estalished, I will expand operations to Manhattan, Milan and Paris.

The thing that weirded me out is that people in my city and my school district (even people that I associate with) are actively preparing for it. At worst, some idiots commit some petty crimes and get made a fool of. Most likely it will end up being some weird ghetto cosplay like event where everybody locks their doors and such.

Mmm. I don't know. Seems like a lot of the music from the "Pop-Tarts" is kind of generic to me. Generic ballads, generic "I'm so fabulous and your a tool", and generic "that boy is so hot" lyrics. The music is generic, and the girls themselves (for the most part) are pretty homogenous.
No more Joan Jett, Lita Ford, Linda Ronstadt (back when she was pretty hot), Bonnie Raitt, The Bangles (all of them) etc.
Fanny Lu is kind of hot and I like her music, even though she sings faster than I can mentally translate the Spainish. But here in the states she's not mainstream (overall), so she's unique. In Latin America she may just be another Columbian version of a pop tart?
And now I have Tu no eres para mi stuck in my head...

Just discovered that Fanny Lu is almost a year younger than my wife. Which at (ahem 39+) makes her too old to be a "pop tart".
