I was fooling around in Saturnian orbit the other day when I suffered a program crash. I'm not sure what caused it, but the effect has been to amalgamate Saturn's moons. I'm not kidding:

Peculiar.

Any help?

I don't know.

I've looked at the config files but I can't see a problem. Deepstar 2.0 put Saturn.dll and satsat.dll on my system and I think it's possible that that is causing this, although everything was fine to begin with.

Well, you didn't say you installed Deepstar, but only that it happened after the crash. You didn't provide that information, meaning that you assumed that the crash was the source of your problem, which obviously isn't, but a newly installed add-on could be. It is required to provide as much information about the problem if you want it resolved.

Now you can delete the SatSat.dll and Saturn.dll from Orbiter's root folder, which will resolve the issue.

I removed satsat.dll and saturn.dll from the root folder, but the problem is still there.

From what I have found elsewhere on the web it seems that the problem is with Deepstar 2.0.

Interesting... An Orbiter-generated big-crunch. Certainly a message of the almighty Probe. About Unity ? :hmm:

:hailprobe:

I've run into problems with the Deepstar screwing with the Saturn system as well, though in my case it flung the moons off at escape velocity, not...this.

Right.

I've put the original satsat.dll back in the modules folder and everything is back to normal so far.

Thanks for your help.
