Hi Everyone,

I was wondering what launchers are scenario editor compatible (ie you can 'create' a new one of them in game without CTD)?

Are only spacecraft3 launchers compatible? Or do some multistage2 work too?

I know Energia works, ETS, and Velcro.

Hope you can help!

Best,

Dores

After reading through the scenario editor docs and trying some things out my question is:

Why do some add-ons such as Energy, work beautifully, but, for instance, a CTD occurs when I try to load a Flacon 9, or certain station modules?

Is there any way to make all add-ons compatible?

I'm asking because I like persistance, and sometimes fly two missions per session.

Best,

D

Some vessels may initialize their custom variables in clbkLoadStateEx which isn't called when a vessel is spawned with Scenario Editor, but only when it's loaded from a scenario. This may cause a CTD if such variable wasn't initialized with some default value. Unfortunately, such add-ons need to be rewritten to make them compatible.

I'm not sure how is it with Falcon 9, or certain station modules (which?), because I haven't tried them.

Thanks Orb : )

Some of Greg's station modules (4.1b) load perfectly and some cause CTD.

Thanks for explaining this, it's been a little frustrating not understanding why!

The Trassa_LV for instance doesn't even show, despite the configuration settings files being copied into the 'vessels' folder.

Is this because it's a Multistage2 vessel?

Ariane V5 doesn't cause CTD but appears with no mesh~!

Cheers again,

Yeh,

Sorry about that : (

Early morning post and missed it.

I should install a safety guard over it...
