Soyuz 7K-OK, 7K-OKS, 7K-T and 7K-T/AF for Orbiter.

Including launch scenarios (requires Thorton’s Soyuz FG 1.2), custom fairing, virtual cockpit, Salyut 1 station and repaint for Salyut 6 (by majortom).

This add-on is a tribute to Vladimir Komarov (Soyuz 1), Georgi Dobrowolski, Viktor Patsayev and Vladislav Volkov (Soyuz 11), who died on their respective missions, and to every other fallen cosmonauts.

Credits go to:

·       Castorp, for Meshes and Textures
·       4throck, for the spacecraft’s Config files, Textures, Scenarios and the Virtual Cockpit
·       Diogom, for Textures, Config files and Scenarios

Also, thanks to Istvan Takacs, for his permission to use Soyuz VC images;
Everyone who posted on the Orbiter Forum's Soyuz 7k thread, who helped on its development: Urwumpe & Wishbone (translating from Russian to English info for the VC); jedimaster1214 (some help with configs); DaveS (some help with the RCS jets).

UPDATED WITH

- Mesh material fix

- VC MFD fix

- Soyuz 7k Sound Pack (previously avaliable as a separate addon)
This is a sound pack for the Soyuz 7k Series addon. It will add random radio comms in the cockpit. As an extra, it includes a small correction to the landing thruster's location.Sounds were taken from http://w ww.svengrahn.pp.se/sounds/sounds.htm, with permission from the author, Sven Grahn. See the doc for a complete list of credits.

-  Soyuz 7K scenario pack (previously avaliable as a separate addon)

This pack changes nearly all original scenarios from great addon "Soyuz 7k" by 4throck.
Required:
- Soyuz 7k (4throck)
- Soyuz FG(U) (Thorton)
- Salyut 6MT (Majortom) (all may you may find on www.orbithangar.com)
I redesigned original 4throck's scenarios and added some of my own design.
What is changed:
- added bigger and more complex descriptions
- changed orbital data in rendezvous missions. Now RInc is ~0.00 and rendezvous and docking is possible.
- added some unmanned/test missions
- added some new missions - mainly from INTERKOSMOS program

Very good addon, been following you guys from the start. 5 star addon here! :thumbup:

P.S. You should rename the docs folder to doc so files are put in the same place as the Orbiter installation.

Fantastic work, guys. :cheers: Now on to nitpicking ;) :
a) as Izack^H^H^H^H^HScruce :facepalm: said, it's "Doc" and not "docs" (you could also consider putting the Word file into a "Soyuz 7K" subfolder);
b) the package includes R7_SZ\platform.msh, and Salut textures which have been already in my Orbiter installation from other add-ons;
c) RCS exhaust is grossly out of scale (I flew only the twin Soyuzes scenario);
d) across modules VC is the same (even in PAO :) )
e) names for vessels should be way shorter, as it takes a while to punch them into various MFDs;
f) the RCS handling qualities are 7K-OK (:) ), I did not notice any difference between manual and PrecessionMFD-optimized RCS control. Thanks for this great addition to the fleet!

Thanks for the analysis. :thumbup:

a) Yes, I'll change it and upload a corrected version.
b) As for the mesh, it slipped away of course and will be removed. As for the Salyut textures, the addon features a Salyut 6 repaint by myself. Of course, if you reinstall the original Salyut 6 all changes will be reverted, no problem.
c) RCS scale was discussed on the development thread and adjusted based on videos of a modern Soyuz. It really looks like that!
d) Yes. If I limited the VC to the reentry module, because propulsion in on the service module, you wouldn't be able to use it. Unless you used remote control or something. It's one of those things better handled by a custom .dll with system simulation, something that no one from the "development team" knows at the time. But yes, it's possible to limit the VC to the reentry module and to have a different one for the orbital module.
e)You have a point, but I find it hard to figure out the Russian abbreviations. Much better to have the reentry module named as such. The same goes for the active/passive variations. At first I used shorter names but it made development quite confusing.
f)I'm really not an expert on engine configuration. Any correction is welcome. As it is a spacecraft.dll implementation it's very simple to change values.

f) was not a nitpick :)

Re: e) - no probs, I'll rename stuff for brevity...

Very well done ! :thumbup:

Too bad that Spacecraft3.dll and Jarmonik's DX9 client are incompatible... :cry:

Ok, I hate doing this, but:
-CTD on Soyuz 5 launch, scn doesn't load (don't know about the others)
-Missing textures, the fairing textures
-I also get on Orbiter.log an error saying that soyuz_astp_solar.dds and serv.dds are missing, but they aren't, they're in the texs folder.

Updated :) No problem in reporting errors.

Textures added (please check now), the Soyuz 5 launch works in my PC, but I think I know were the problem is (it's loading an old config file).

Thanks. Also, thanks all the others for your sugestions and feedback.

I found a little misplacement of the docking port on the Soyuz OK. I'll correct it and PM it to 4throck so he can update the addon on OH.

Hi, I downloaded Soyuz to orbiter simulator 10 and I put it into the orbiter folder I rewrote everything, but when I run scenarion so it lists me critical error :no vessel class configuration file found for :
//error: spacecraft/spacecraft3
[vessel::OpneConfigFile : ./vessel.cpp : 252
What can I do ? thanks

Did you install Spacecraft3?

I do not, when I downloaded it so I posted a write that's this:
error :no vessel class configuration file found for :
error:r7_sz/les
[vessel::OpneConfigFile : ./vessel.cpp : 252

Do you have Thorton's [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=4545"]Soyuz FG/U v1.2[/ame]?
